Those hamburger ads between your favorite sitcoms may have a bigger affect on your diet than you might think. A recent study in the Journal of the American Dietetic Association analyzed what would happen if someone ate a 2,000 calories diet consisting of the foods shown during prime-time and Saturday morning TV.

Researchers found someone eating this TV diet would consume 25 times the recommended intake of sugar, 20 times the recommended intake of fat, and less than half of the recommended amount of fruit and veggies.
